Importing existing emails into Plesk is easily done using the built-in Mail Importing tool via the IMAP protocol
Follow these steps to safely migrate your mailboxes:
- Access the Mail Importing Tool: Log in to Plesk, go to Websites & Domains, locate your domain, click the Mail tab, and select Mail Importing.
- Start the Import: Click Import mail messages.
- Enter Source Details: Fill in your Source email (the old email address) and Password.
- Choose Destination: Select whether you want to Create a new mailbox or import into an Existing mailbox in Plesk ( we recommend that you create your email accounts first before importing)
- Advanced Options (If needed): Click Show advanced options to enter the old email server's IMAP hostname/IP ( if you are moving from mail.netcetera.co.uk then enter mail.netcetera.co.uk under the source IMAP host field) p
- Click OK to begin the transfer
